As has been announced over the past months, we are asking parishioners and friends to donate to fund raising efforts that will be used to beautify our church interior and maintain the church building. We’re pleased to announce that thanks to generous donations to the Salt Fence (railings) project, we have enough funds to move forward with this first project. The planning process has already begun and we will soon have the new salt fence installed in our church. Thank you to everyone who donated to this project!
Our projects continue! The Holy Shroud which is brought to the center of the church on Holy Friday is in need of restoration. The parish council, at the suggestion of Father Rostyslav, has decided to move forward with the purchase of a new Shroud and restoration of the current Shroud. The total cost for this project is $4000 to $5000.
Because of a generous donation from the estate of parishioner Dorothy Schutlz, we are able to conduct a matching fund drive for this project. Every donation made to the Holy Shroud project will be matched by the same amount in memory of Dorothy Schultz. We ask for your help in achieving this goal and in purchasing a new Holy Shroud for our parish.
