With the rector’s blessing, the Parish Council plans to repair the roof and gutters soon because of water that has leaked into the church building. A contractor has already been selected to carry out the work. This repair will extend the time needed to raise funds for a complete roof replacement for the next 5-7 years.
With God’s help, last summer, the carpeting in the Sanctuary (altar and soleas) was replaced, and we are also planning to install an iconostasis in the Sanctuary – on the High Place and above the Table of Oblation. The estimate for replacing the carpeting in the upper part of the church, that is, in the nave, sacristy, and entrance, is about $10,000, and we have already started a fundraiser which we invite everyone to join in person at the church or online at
